IPL 2026 Fixtures, Venues & Match Schedule

The 2026 Indian Premier League features 74 scheduled matches across ten world-class cricket venues. Matches are held in two standard windows: evening games commencing at 7:30 PM IST, and double-header weekend afternoon fixtures starting at 3:30 PM IST.

Tournament Format & Playoff Pathway

The ten franchises are split into two virtual groups of five. Each franchise plays fourteen league stage fixtures (seven at home and seven away). The top four teams advance to the IPL Playoffs:

• Qualifier 1: 1st place vs 2nd place (winner reaches Grand Final; loser moves to Qualifier 2).
• Eliminator: 3rd place vs 4th place (loser is eliminated; winner faces loser of Qualifier 1).
• Qualifier 2: Battle for the second Grand Final ticket.
• Grand Final: Championship trophy title clash.
